It does not get more convenient than this! The NWU Sports Village is located on the Fanie du Toit Sportsgrounds with cricket, rugby, athletics, netball, tennis and soccer being in a 100m radius. It is a one-stop facility with a great High Performance Center within 3 minute walk from our front door.

The NWU Sports Village was opened in April 2010. We hosted the base camp of the 2010 FIFA World Cup Winners, Spain, and only a year after that we were the base camp for the Pampas from Argentina, who turned out to be the 2011 Vodacom Cup Winners. We also regularly host the Protea Cricket team, England’s International bowlers as well as many England County Cricket teams. 

We are home to many training camps of all sports groups (national- and internationally), corporate conferences of all over the world, functions and many more.

We have 80 spacious rooms of which 76 are standard rooms, and 4 rooms that can accommodate guests with disabilities.

The rooms have all the modern amenities to ensure a comfortable and luxurious stay.
